Buffalo Sabres goalie Ryan Miller is making his case to be named the No. 1 man between the pipes for the United States in Sochi.

The lone bright spot for the lowly Sabres shined once again Sunday afternoon, keeping his team in the game and bailing Buffalo out late in the third period. With the game knotted at 1-1 and just over two minutes left to play, Washington Capitals center Mikhail Grabovski handled a rebound with a great stickhandling move and fired off the potential game-winning shot at a mostly open net.

But as good as Grabovski was with his stick, Miller was better. With hardly any time to react, the Buffalo goaltender somehow managed to get his stick on the puck and bat it away. The Sabres won the game in a shootout, 2-1.

Check out Miller’s incredible save below.
