Olympic Bear Mascot Laments Russian Hockey Loss, Can’t Fit In Car (Photos)

The 2014 Winter Olympics mascot definitely has not enjoyed the past few days in Sochi.

First, the cuddly bear couldn’t fit its head in a car when it tried to ride shotgun. It was relegated to the backseat like a common house pet.

Things only got worse from there when the Russian men’s hockey team lost its quarterfinal game to Tuukka Rask and Team Finland 3-1 on Wednesday. The bear couldn’t withhold its disappointment, which was captured on Twitter for the world to see. Take a look at the crestfallen mascot below.

Not everything has been bad for the Russians in the Olympics, though. Keep your head up, bear — no one likes a depressed mascot.
