The Detroit Lions defensive tackle fired his agent last month and is expected to hire Jay Z in some capacity, sources told ESPN.com’s Adam Schefter. It’s unclear if the rapper will be Suh’s agent, or if Jay Z will help the fourth-year pro with marketing.
Suh is entering the final year of his contract with the Lions. He’s due $12.55 million with a $22.4 million cap hit. Suh previously was represented by Relativity Sports.
Jay Z already represents New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz, New York Jets quarterback Geno Smith, NBA star Kevin Durant and MLB’s Robinson Cano and CC Sabathia.
