Russian Curler Andrey Drozdov Slips On Ice, Falls On His Face (GIF)
Russia was in a tightly contested curling match against Switzerland at the 2014 Winter Olympics on Thursday when Andrey Drozdov slipped on the ice and face-planted.
The Russian curler was trying to help his team as its yellow stone was approaching the target area, but as he attempted to smooth the ice with his broom, he lost his balance and took a tumble.
Fortunately for Drozdov, he was able to get up quickly and resume playing. Watch him faceplant on the ice in the GIF below, courtesy of Deadpsin.
