Bynum has continued to experience soreness and swelling in his right knee and will be out indefinitely, the Pacers announced Friday. He will continue to undergo treatment, but no details or timetable for his return were given.
Bynum, 26, missed all of last season with the Philadelphia 76ers, who acquired him in an offseason trade. He appeared in 26 games this season with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Pacers, who he signed with Feb. 1 after being traded to the Chicago Bulls and immediately waived. He has averaged 11.5 points and 9.5 rebounds per game in two games with the Pacers.
