Reports: DeMarcus Ware Agrees To Three-Year Deal With Broncos
Ware and the Broncos agreed on a three-year deal that — pending a physical — will pay the defensive end $30 million with $20 million guaranteed, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Chris Bullock of CBS 11 in Dallas was the first to report news of the signing.
Ware, who was released by the Cowboys on Tuesday after spending the first nine years of his career in Dallas, is the third big-name signing the Broncos made in the first 24 hours of NFL free agency. As Ben Volin of The Boston Globe points out, the contracts of Ware, Aqib Talib and T.J. Ward include a combined $60 million in guaranteed money.
Ware played 13 games for the Cowboys last season, finishing with career lows in both tackles (40) and sacks (six).
