A’s Fan Falls Face-First Onto Concrete Trying To Catch Foul Ball (GIFs)

The lengths fans will go to for a foul ball never ceases to amaze.

One gentleman at the Oakland A’s-Cleveland Indians game Wednesday afternoon sacrificed his body — and probably some pride — as he decided to go all-out for a second-inning foul ball. Suffice it to say, it did not go well.

The A’s fan face-planted hard into some O.co Coliseum concrete, and to add salt to the wound, he didn’t even catch the foul ball.

Security aided the poor guy, who appeared to be unscathed after the incident, back to his seat, and the A’s went on to lose to the Indians 6-4.

Rough day at the ballpark for all involved.
