Omar Little From ‘The Wire’: ‘There’s No Room’ For Sterling In NBA (Video)

Michael K. Williams, the actor best known for his role Omar Little on HBO’s “The Wire,” announced the Brooklyn Nets’ starting lineup before Sunday’s playoff game against the Toronto Raptors, but he made it his first priority to address Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling’s alleged racist comments against African-American athletes.

“There is no room in the NBA for Donald Sterling,” Williams said before introducing the Nets.

The racial controversy surrounding Sterling started when TMZ released audio of a private conversation between him and his girlfriend, V. Stiviano, in which he told her not to bring any black people to his games. Several major public figures have spoken out against Sterling’s remarks, including Magic Johnson and President Barack Obama.

Check out Williams calling out Sterling in the videos below.
