The Philadelphia Phillies have a tradition of mocking Milwaukee’s famed sausage race whenever the Brewers come to town.

Spoiler alert: The sausages never win.

That was the case again Wednesday night, as the Phillie Phanatic flattened three frankfurters at once, allowing a young racer to take home the checkered flag.

It was the Brewers who steamrolled the Phillies on the scoreboard, though, scoring five runs over the final two innings to hand the home team a 9-4 loss.
