Ryan Roberts Back In Red Sox Lineup; Grady Sizemore Sits vs. Rangers

Ryan RobertsBoston Red Sox third baseman Ryan Roberts is back in the lineup for the second consecutive game as his team faces the Texas Rangers at 4:05 p.m. Wednesday at Fenway Park.

Roberts went 0-for-2 with two walks in his Red Sox debut Tuesday night and will look for his first hit in a Boston uniform against Texas starter Robbie Ross Jr. Roberts will bat seventh.

Jonny Gomes will start in left field and once again bat in the leadoff spot. Grady Sizemore will rest after recording five hits in his past two games, as Jackie Bradley Jr. starts in center field and Daniel Nava receives the call in right.

David Ross will be behind the plate for starting pitcher Jake Peavy, who allowed just two runs over six innings in his 2014 debut Friday against the Milwaukee Brewers.
