New England Patriots Hall of Fame linebacker Tedy Bruschi completed his second Boston Marathon on Monday.

Bruschi told ESPN, with whom he works as an NFL analyst, that he got the idea of running the marathon while he was training next to Tom Brady on a treadmill.

“We should run that race,” Bruschi recalled Brady saying.

Bruschi, who suffered a stroke in 2005, ran for his charity, Tedy’s Team, raising money for the American Stroke Association.
