101-Year-Old Grandma Throws Out First Pitch At Blue Jays Game (Video)

Kitty Cohen set a record Sunday in Toronto that likely will not be broken anytime soon.

Cohen, a 101-year-old grandmother, threw out the ceremonial first pitch before the Blue Jays’ Mother’s Day matchup with the Los Angeles Angels, becoming the oldest Canadian ever to do so.

During the pregame festivities, Cohen jogged to the mound, took the ball from the Blue Jays’ mascot and delivered a nice, underhanded toss to Toronto catcher Josh Thole.

That little trot to the mound was nothing for this grandma, though. Cohen has walked in the 30-kilometer Weekend to End Women’s Cancer event each of the last six years — raising $20,000 in the process — and plans to do so again this September.
