It’s only May, but the San Diego Padres already have locked down the best ceremonial first pitch of the season.
Before Wednesday afternoon’s series finale between the Padres and Kansas City Royals at Petco Park, a baby Tyrannosaurus rex threw out the ceremonial first pitch with its mouth. It was every bit as awesome as it sounds.
The dinosaur, named Baby T, is part of the “Walking with Dinosaurs” arena show that is touring North America this summer, but clearly these dinos can do much more than walk.
