Dominique Easley, Alfonzo Dennard Among Patriots Absent For OTAs

FOXBORO, Mass. — Dominique Easley was nowhere to be seen for the first New England Patriots organized team activities practice open to the media.

The Patriots’ first-round draft pick was among nine absentees for the Patriots on Friday. Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo and tight end Asa Watson missed practice after being selected to attend the mandatory NFLPA Rookie Premiere.

Wide receivers Aaron Dobson, Matthew Slater and Brandon LaFell, cornerback Alfonzo Dennard and offensive linemen Logan Mankins and Cameron Fleming rounded out the absentee list.

Cornerback Justin Green, linebacker Deontae Skinner, defensive tackles Vince Wilfork, Armond Armstead and Tommy Kelly, offensive tackles Nate Solder and Sebastian Vollmer, tight ends Rob Gronkowski and D.J. Williams and defensive end Will Smith were limited in practice. All 10 players spent time in the practice bubble while the rest of the team was on the practice field.

Green was limited with a hamstring pull, according to a source.
