Boston Red Sox ace and cancer survivor Jon Lester spent Wednesday afternoon with pediatric cancer patients from the Jimmy Fund Clinic to “Putt for Miracles.”

Expect Miracles Foundation’s “Tee Off” event kicked off a week-long effort to raise money for youth and families affected by cancer. Their portable putting green started in the Financial District and will travel Boston from May 28 through June 6 in honor of National Cancer Survivor Day on June 1.

Participants in these events can putt to win a free lunch and will be entered to win a VIP Red Sox experience. There is a suggested $10 donation, and funds will also go toward Expect Miracle Foundation’s “Kids Golf Day” at Fenway Park on July 16.

Check out photos of Lester participating in this great event below.
