Reds Fan Redefines Multitasking, Catches Ball While Holding Kid (Video)

Catching a ball while holding a beer in one hand is difficult enough. Try hauling in a line drive with a toddler in tow.

That’s what one Cincinnati Reds fan did Wednesday, not even bothering to put his son down before barehanding a foul ball off the bat of Joey Votto. It was a highly impressive grab, but by the way the fan described it to the Reds’ sideline reporter, you’d think he does this kind of thing on a regular basis.

“No, he was far enough away,” he said when asked whether the thought of putting his kid down crossed his mind. “And that was my glove hand, so I was good.”
