Yankees Fan’s Hilarious Selfie Attempt Caught On TV Cameras (Video)

The “selfie” is an art form.

While we usually just see the final result, a lot more goes into capturing that perfect shot.

For this New York Yankees fan, maybe a little bit too much.

During Monday night’s Subway Series matchup with the New York Mets at Yankee Stadium, television cameras managed to catch a young Yankees fan in the process of taking a selfie.

According to the footage, that process didn’t seem to be going too well, as the girl spent several seconds contorting her face and changing the angle of her phone to try to find the right shot.

In the young fan’s defense, she wasn’t missing much on the field, as her beloved Yankees allowed four home runs and blew a four-run lead in a 9-7 loss.

As for the fate of this selfie, we’ll never know.
