Things are pretty great for Brock Holt these days.
He was riding a nine-game hitting streak coming into Tuesday’s action and has solidified himself as an everyday starter on the Boston Red Sox.
Despite his success on the field, the 25-year-old utilityman isn’t completely content. With the Red Sox on a nine-game road swing, Holt hasn’t spent any time with his new dog. The Texan posted a picture of his puppy on his Instagram account today, saying, “I miss you too buddy #puppypics4lyf.”

Holt isn’t the only one with a little streak going. The pup can proudly say he has been the subject of four consecutive Instagram posts of Holt’s, one of which includes an adorable video of him attacking a stuffed duck.
