NHL Releases Official Snapback Hats Ahead Of 2014 Draft (Photo)

The NHL draft will take place this week in Philadelphia, beginning one day after its much more highly publicized NBA counterpart. In the lead-up to the event, on Monday the NHL released the official cap that will be given to each draftee upon his selection.

Here’s a look at the Boston Bruins’ version:

The whole batch looks pretty nice, but the style definitely works better for teams that have secondary logos. For those that don’t, like the Pittsburgh Penguins, for example, the hats look a bit odd and repetitive.

Round 1 of the draft will be held Friday night at the Wells Fargo Center, followed by Rounds 2 through 7 on Saturday. The Florida Panthers own the No. 1 overall pick.
