Royals Fans Don Cat Onesies In Odd Farewell Gift To Derek Jeter (Photo)

When you think of Derek Jeter, what’s the first thing that comes to mind? For two Kansas City Royals fans, the answer to that question apparently is wrestling singlets with huge pictures of cats on them.

That photo was taken Sunday during the Royals’ game against Jeter’s New York Yankees — the latest stop on the shortstop’s retirement tour.

These fans’ strange — and a bit terrifying — display of support for the opposition came one day early, as the Royals and Yankees don’t play their final game at Kauffman Stadium this season until Monday night. But regardless, it’s hard to knock their creativity.
