Most hitters in the All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game see pitching that would be right at home in your local beer league.

“He kept saying, ‘You’ve got to bring it. You’ve got to bring it,'” Finch added. “So, I brought it.”

As you can tell, Peterson isn’t exactly a baseball savant — he said he hasn’t played the game competitively in 15 years. His valiant attempt was one of the highlights of the game, though, and produced arguably the best photo of the night.

Swinging the bat wasn’t the only aspect of the game Peterson struggled with. It appears he had a rough go of it in the field, too.

At least that whole football thing seems to be going OK for him.
