Bill Belichick, Robert Kraft Were Interviewed In Aaron Hernandez Probe

The investigation in the 2013 murder allegedly committed by Aaron Hernandez led police to speak with multiple high-ranking members of the New England Patriots organization, newly released court documents revealed.

Police interviewed Patriots head coach Bill Belichick, owner Robert Kraft and director of player personnel Nick Caserio last summer, the documents show, via The Boston Globe. Investigators also searched the locker of a Patriots player and turned over over 33 pages of text messages between Belichick and Hernandez to the former tight end’s defense team.

The contents of the interviews and messages were not disclosed.

The documents released pertain to the 2013 murder of Odin Lloyd, not the 2012 double murder of two men in Boston’s South End. Hernandez has been charged in connection with both crimes and currently is awaiting trial.
