It’s been quite a frustrating year for Washington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper.
Before he could even get into a groove this season, Harper went down with an injury that sidelined him for 57 games. When he came back to the everyday lineup, he openly questioned manager Matt Williams’ decisions. Now, the outfield phenom can add an even more embarrassing event to his 2014 season.
After striking out in the bottom of the seventh inning on Sunday, Harper tried to pull a Bo Jackson and break his bat over his knee. Things did not turn out the way he planned, though.

The bat held firm and did not even crack. Harper decided just to throw the bat toward the dugout instead.
With the way things are going for Harper, he might want to get a new piece of lumber anyway. He has just four hits in six games since returning from the disabled list.
