Turner Sports reporter Craig Sager was diagnosed with leukemia in April and completed three weeks of chemotherapy in May, all during the time in which he usually covers the NBA playoffs.

His son, Craig Sager Jr., worked the sidelines in his stead. But on Thursday, the younger Sager did something even more important for his father. He donated bone marrow to him and documented the whole event on Twitter.

Sager Jr. shared many inspirational photos in the 24 hours leading up to the procedure, and it’s great to see how upbeat the family has remained.
