Cristiano Ronaldo Denies Hiring Lil Wayne As Manager Via Twitter

Popular hip-hop star Jay-Z officially became a sports agent last summer, and has already landed well-known players such as Robinson Cano and Kevin Durant as clients.

He’s already had success with his new business, Roc Nation Sports, helping Cano land a huge 10-year, $240 million contract during free agency last year.

Apparently Jay-Z isn’t the only rapper trying to get in the sports agent business.

On Thursday, TMZ reported via sources that fellow rap star Lil Wayne was following in the footsteps of Jay-Z, deciding to get into sports management, as well. His first client, sources said, would be none other than international soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo.

But it doesn’t look like that’s true, after all. Ronaldo, a forward for Real Madrid, denied the arrangement on Twitter Saturday.

Let’s hope Lil Wayne didn’t quit his day job.
