Kyle Busch Wins Pole At New Hampshire; Greg Biffle 27th In NESN30 Car

Kyle BuschKyle Busch drove 138.130 mph around the New Hampshire Motor Speedway track Friday to win the pole for Sunday’s Camping World RV Sales 301.

It’s Busch’s second pole of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season. His previous pole win came in March at Martinsville.

Jimmie Johnson’s speed of 137.790 mph put him in second, and Denny Hamlin finished third at 137.081, giving Joe Gibbs Racing two of the top three spots.

Roush Fenway Racing’s Carl Edwards qualified 14th at 136.296 mph. Teammate Ricky Stenhouse Jr. finished with a top speed of 135.922 mph, good for 22nd. Greg Biffle, who’s driving the NESN 30th Anniversary Ford Fusion, posted a speed of 135.304 mph for 27th.

Sunday’s race begins at 1 p.m. ET.
