Steven Gerrard, Lazar Markovic In Liverpool’s Squad For 2014 US Tour (Photo)

Liverpool FC won’t be short on star power when it comes to America next week.

Liverpool named its traveling squad Thursday for its upcoming 2014 U.S. Tour. The 33-man traveling party includes captain Steven Gerrard, striker Daniel Sturridge and a host of other names that are familiar to Reds fans. It also includes new signings, such as Adam Lallana and Lazar Markovic, and some young players who are looking to boost their careers and Liverpool’s fortunes in 2014-15.

Liverpool begins its slate of U.S. preseason games next Wednesday when it takes on Italian club AS Roma at Fenway Park in Boston. The Reds then will compete in the International Champions Cup, where they will face Greece’s Olympiacos (on July 27 in Chicago), Premier League rival Manchester City (on July 30 in New York) and AC Milan (on August 2 in Charlotte, N.C.).

Liverpool will depart from England on Sunday afternoon.
