World Cup Drama Summed Up In Beautifully Animated Highlight Reel (Video)

The 2014 FIFA World Cup came to an end Sunday, closing out a month-long tournament that was one of the most exciting and dramatic in recent memory.

With the action now complete, artist and filmmaker Richard Swarbrick took it upon himself to compile the best highlights and stylize them in his own unique fashion, resulting in this visually striking World Cup recap.

U.S. soccer fans will recognize a number of these plays, as Clint Dempsey, John Brooks, Jermaine Jones and Tim Howard all make appearances.
