Professional baseball and the epic movie series “Star Wars” have a well-documented relationship, especially in the New England region.
The Triple-A Pawtucket Red Sox hosted a “Star Wars Night” at McCoy Stadium in June, and the Double-A Portland Sea Dogs upped the ante in early July by donning fantastic Chewbacca uniforms on their own Star Wars-themed night.
Perhaps with baseball’s affinity for Star Wars in mind, graphic designer Mark Avery Kenny of AK47 Studios combined the logos of all 30 MLB teams with some of Star Wars’ most notable characters to produce some awesome results.
Red Sox fans, for example, should be happy with the Jedi twist on their team’s logo.
