Bruins Draft Pick David Pastrnak Lights It Up For Czech Republic (GIFs)

Feast your eyes on this, Boston Bruins fans.

When we last saw David Pastrnak, the Bruins’ top pick in the 2014 NHL draft, he was wowing observers at the team’s developmental camp and giving reason to believe he could push for a spot on the B’s NHL roster this season.

Pastrnak was back competing for his home nation of the Czech Republic on Friday, and he added more fuel to that speculation with a dazzling offensive performance.

The 18-year-old tallied two goals and assist in a game against Team Canada at the U-20 summer development camp, including this laser from the left circle that gave his squad a three-goal lead early in the third period.

The Czechs went on to win 5-2 in a highly physical contest that included 84 total penalty minutes and a near-brawl after the final whistle.
