The Boston Celtics released their eight-game preseason schedule Tuesday, and they kick things off at TD Garden against the Philadelphia 76ers on Oct. 6.
The Celtics’ preseason features Atlantic Division matchups throughout the month of October. Tickets go on sale later in August, though tickets for both games against the New York Knicks — which will be at the XL Center in Hartford, Conn., and the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn. — are already on sale.
The team will also play in Portland, Maine, for the first time in 20 years when they take on the Toronto Raptors at the Cross Insurance Arena on Oct. 15.
