Elle Quebec Uses Photos Of Maria Sharapova In Eugenie Bouchard Profile (Photo)

Eugenie Bouchard often gets stuck in the shadow of Maria Sharapova.

So much so that a major magazine mixed the two tennis stars up.

Elle Quebec featured Montreal native Bouchard on the cover of its August issue, but there was one problem: They put photos of Sharapova from the 2014 French Open final on the inside. Sharapova beat Bouchard in the semifinal of that tournament.

While it might be easy to mix up the two tall blondes, you would think someone would notice that mistake somewhere along the way. Especially in a Canadian magazine.

Elle Quebec apologized for the error.
