Marcus Smart Horses Around With Fellow Rookies At Photo Shoot (Video)

Marcus Smart is a fiery competitor on the basketball court, but he also knows how to have a good time.

The latter was on display over the weekend, when the Boston Celtics draft pick — on behalf of ESPN’s “SportsNation” — competed in his own scavenger hunt at the annual NBA rookie photo shoot.

Some of the tasks were rather standard (give a dumb hat to a rookie, arm wrestle Mitch McGary, etc.), but others actually were pretty funny. We’re partial to “forge a Muggsy Bogues signature and give it to Noah Vonleh” and “eat snacks with Shabazz Napier.”

(Also, the video shows top pick Andrew Wiggins in a Cleveland Cavaliers jersey for what might be the final time.)

James Young, the Celtics’ other first-round pick in 2014 NBA draft, also was in attendance. The Kentucky product teamed up with Smart on a few alley-oops and showed off some of his dance moves for the cameras.
