Graham Gano Won’t Let Band Routine Interrupt Halftime Warmups (GIF)

Graham Gano had his mind set on warming up for the second half, and nothing was going to stop him.

The Carolina Panthers kicker came out of the locker room a bit early before the second half of Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Yet Gano was in for a bit of a surprise, as Raymond James Stadium had been completely taken over by the Bethune-Cookman marching band, which was performing its halftime routine.

Some kickers would have chalked it up as a loss, but not Gano, who decided to take the field anyway.

As you might imagine, things got a little testy, as Gano had to shove a band member out of the way to perform his kicks.

To the band’s credit, it carried on unfazed despite Gano launching footballs right in the middle of them. Here a few more images from the bizarre scene.
