Report: Knowshon Moreno Dislocates Elbow, Out 4 To 8 Weeks For Dolphins

Knowshon Moreno’s season got off to a promising start in Week 1. That promise came to a screeching halt in Week 2.

On his first carry of the Miami Dolphins’ game against the Buffalo Bills, the running back hit the turf awkwardly, causing his elbow to bend at a gruesomely unnatural angle.

Moreno immediately was taken off the field and missed the rest of the game, but it looks like he could be sidelined for a significant period of time, according to ProFootballTalk.

The extent of Moreno’s absence still is up in the air, but the most recent report from the Miami Herald’s Armando Salguero has the running back missing up to two months.

Either way, it’s a devastating injury for the former Denver Bronco, who ran roughshod over the New England Patriots in the season opener. With Moreno sidelined, the Dolphins turned to Lamar Miller, who mustered just 46 yards on 11 carries in a 29-10 loss to the Bills.
