Report: NBA’s Sleeved Jerseys Still Hated, Are ‘Not Selling Well’

It’s safe to say the NBA’s sleeved jerseys have been one of the least well-received uniform trends in recent memory.

They look dumb, players don’t like them and the people who should be buying them — fans who, presumably, would rather not wear a tank top walking around town — aren’t.

A buyer for a “well-known chain of sporting good stores” said earlier this week that the sleeved jerseys “are not selling well,” according to Paul Lukas of Uni Watch.

That’s not what the league wants to hear, especially considering that these gimmick jerseys are created pretty much solely for merchandising purposes.

It isn’t all that surprising, though. How many people do you know who actually own a sleeved jersey? One? Maybe?

Let’s all just hope the NBA will take the hint.
