Tim Tebow has yet to find an NFL job, but at least he’s staying busy in the meantime.
The former NFL quarterback last saw the football field as a member of the New England Patriots during 2013 training camp. Since then, he’s taken a job as an analyst on ESPN’s new SEC Network.
Now, it appears that he’s branching outside the world of football.
ABC News released a statement Thursday announcing that Tebow will be joining “Good Morning America” as a contributor beginning Sept. 15. According to the statement, the former Heisman Trophy winner will star in the show’s new “Motivate Me Monday” series, which will feature “individuals and their amazing stories of triumph.”
Tebow came into the NFL with much fanfare in 2010 after becoming the first sophomore to win the Heisman during his 2007 season at Florida. The quarterback found some success with the Denver Broncos but fizzled out after two seasons, being relegated to a special teams role on the New York Jets in 2012 before not making a 53-man roster in 2013.
It remains to be seen whether the 27-year-old will find his way back to the NFL, but at least he’s not unemployed.
