White Sox Announcer Delivers Incredibly Uninspired Home Run Call (Video)

The Chicago White Sox’s season is done, and so is broadcaster Steve Stone.

The 62-75 Sox haven’t given fans much to get pumped about this year, but even when they do put on a show, their announcers can’t even fake a little enthusiasm. During the 10th inning of Tuesday’s game against the Minnesota Twins, Tyler Flowers hit a two-run homer in the 10th inning to extend Chicago’s lead to 6-3.

But Flowers’ bomb just didn’t do it for Stone, who initially thought the two-run shot was a foul ball before he corrected himself with arguably the most lackluster home run call in MLB history.

“It’s a home run. Wow.”

Just wrap it up and call it a season already, White Sox, so Stone can be put out of his misery.
