Bruins’ Seth Griffith Nets First NHL Goal, Celebrates In Style (Video)

BOSTON — Welcome to the show, Seth Griffith.

The Boston Bruins rookie, who made his debut with the B’s last Monday, beat San Jose Sharks goaltender Antti Niemi on Tuesday night for his first career NHL goal.

Griffith’s tally came at a crucial juncture for the Bruins, tying the game at three goals apiece early in the third period. Given the goal’s importance, the 21-year-old Ontario native chose to eschew the “act like you’ve been there” approach with his celebration.

You’ve got to love that enthusiasm.

Milan Lucic, who recorded his third assist of the night of the play, was sure to scoop up the puck for safekeeping. The B’s went on to score two more goals en route to a 5-3 win.
