In case you haven’t heard, the Cleveland Cavaliers have some new players on their team this season.
The Cavs are pretty excited about that fact, and they ecided to show it by installing a massive new video board at Quicken Loans Arena. They also included some flaming sabers, because why not?
According to the team’s press release, the snazzy new contraption is the “largest HD scoreboard in any arena in the country,” with the two sideline screens measuring about 31 feet high and 65 feet wide and the baseline screens measuring about 30 feet high and 33 feet wide.
That massive canvas should have plenty of highlights to display. Cleveland vaulted itself into playoff contention this offseason by adding superstar free agent LeBron James and All-Star forward Kevin Love and now is the odds-on favorite to win the NBA Finals.
The Cavs kick off their 2014-15 campaign at the Q on Thursday against the New York Knicks, and they’ll do so in some brand-new blue-and-yellow uniforms. Let’s just hope those flaming sabers don’t make the temperature too hot for LeBron and company.
