Chandler Jones’ Hip Injury Confirmed On Patriots’ Practice Report

FOXBORO, Mass. — Chandler Jones’ hip injury was confirmed on Wednesday’s New England Patriots practice participation and injury report.

Jones is likely to be out for about a month with the injured hip, a league source told The Boston Globe’s Shalize Manza Young on Tuesday. Jones was the lone Patriots player absent from Wednesday’s practice.

Offensive linemen Dan Connolly (concussion), Bryan Stork (concussion) and Cameron Fleming (finger), defensive lineman Dominique Easley (shoulder/knee), safety Nate Ebner (finger) and wide receiver Matthew Slater (shouler) were limited in practice.

Quarterback Tom Brady (ankle), cornerback Brandon Browner (ankle), linebackers Jamie Collins (thigh) and Dont’a Hightower (knee), and safety Devin McCourty (rib) were full participants.

Connolly, Stork, Fleming and Ebner didn’t practice last week and were inactive for the Patriots’ 27-25 win over the New York Jets on Thursday night.
