FOXBORO, Mass. — The mysterious saga of Dominique Easley’s knee continues.

The Patriots’ 2014 first-round draft pick missed practice Thursday for the second consecutive session. The defensive lineman is dealing with a nagging knee injury that kept him out of Week 12’s 34-9 win over the Detroit Lions. He was limited in practice last week in San Diego and played against the Chargers.

Easley has 10 tackles, one sack and one interception on the season.

The Patriots practiced on the New England Revolution’s field in snowy conditions. Defensive end Chandler Jones (hip) appeared to be moving well while going through drills. Linebacker Dont’a Hightower (shoulder) also participated in positional drills.

Running back LeGarrette Blount returned to practice after missing Wednesday’s session because of  a court date.
