Fire Alarm At Patriots’ Arizona Team Hotel Goes Off In Middle Of Night

The New England Patriots might be a tad cranky at Super Bowl Media Day.

The fire alarm at the team hotel in Chandler, Ariz., went off in the middle of the night Monday, according to NFL Media’s Jeff Darlington. While the alarm didn’t last long, Darlington noted it was quite an obnoxious — and loud — disturbance that spanned about 10 minutes.

Distractions have abounded for the Patriots in the days leading up to Super Bowl XLIX, as DeflateGate has been the hot topic that refuses to go away.

New England players and coaches certainly could’ve used all the sleep they could get the night before they’re inevitably hounded with questions about the controversy, but something tells us they’ll still go out there and do their job.
