Late-night talk show hosts are having a field day with DeflateGate.
The ball controversy surrounding the New England Patriots refuses to go away, and the entertainment business is cashing in on it. On the same day Bill Belichick and Tom Brady held separate press conferences to address the report that 11 of the Patriots’ 12 game balls from their AFC Championship Game rout of the Indianapolis Colts were under-inflated, late-night hosts joined the insanity.
The story has dominated the news cycle this week, as even CNN, FOX News and MSNBC aired Brady’s presser that featured no shortage of absurd questions. But luckily some guys out there can laugh about it.
Brookline, Mass., native Conan O’Brien dedicated part of his monologue to other hilarious instances of the Patriots’ cheating ways. Seth Meyers, who grew up in New Hampshire, talked the scandal out with Pittsburgh Steelers great Hines Ward. Jimmy Kimmel appreciated the absurdity of it all. I mean, the jokes really write themselves.
Check out the plethora of DeflateGate jokes in the videos below.
