Pedro Martinez has a big — well, lil — fan in Lil Wayne.

The rapper took to Twitter on Tuesday, shortly after the 2015 National Baseball Hall of Fame class was announced, to join Red Sox Nation in congratulating Boston legend Pedro Martinez, who was one of four players to be elected this year. The three-time Cy Young winner was joined by Randy Johnson, John Smoltz and Craig Biggio, but Martinez received the special shoutout from Lil Wayne.

It appears Red Sox fans have so much more in common with Lil Wayne than originally thought.

The rapper is a noted fan of the ballclub, though, as he even hung out with David Ortiz after Boston won its third World Series title in 10 years back in 2013.
