Almost everyone gets embarrassed by their dad every once in a while, but luckily for most people, their fathers aren’t on national television.
Leigh Mayock isn’t so lucky.
Her father, NFL Network analyst Mike Mayock, turned into “Mike Mayfunk” during the Sunday broadcast of the NFL Scouting Combine. The former Boston College and New York Giants safety revealed his knowledge of Parliament-Funkadelic before going into a rousing rendition of The Sugarhill Gang’s “Rapper’s Delight.”
Co-anchor Rich Eisen was delighted, but Leigh Mayock didn’t feel the same way and texted her father to turn down the funk.

She also wasn’t too happy about the Twittersphere’s reaction to Mayock.

Mike Mayock got the last laugh, however, as Parliament-Funkadelic frontman George Clinton ended up giving him a shout-out.
