Report: D’Qwell Jackson Arrested After Punching Pizza Delivery Driver

D’Qwell Jackson’s offseason isn’t off to the best start.

The Indianapolis Colts linebacker was arrested and cited for assault after he reportedly punched a pizza delivery driver in the head during an argument over a parking spot, according to Jennifer Donelan of WJLA-TV in Washington, D.C.

The 31-year-old delivery driver told Jackson he was only going to use the parking space “momentarily,” but that set off the linebacker, Donelan reported. Jackson told the driver to “get the (expletive)” out of the spot and then punched him in the face and the back of the head.

Even before Jackson was allegedly thumping delivery workers in the face, he was in the headlines for his role in the DeflateGate controversy. The linebacker’s interception of a Tom Brady pass in the second quarter of the AFC Championship Game allegedly sparked the scandal, but he later said he didn’t notice anything wrong with the Patriots’ footballs.
