If Biro Biroan didn’t know Tatiane Sacilotti wasn’t in the mood for any nonsense when he woke up Sunday he was certain of it by the end of the day.

Sacilotti, a female referee’s assistant in the macho world of Brazilian professional soccer, responded forcefully to Biroan’s protests over a call that didn’t go his way during Ponte Preta’s 2-1 loss to Sao Paulo in the Campeonato Paulista (Paulista State Championship).

The game was tied 1-1 in or around the 75th minute when Biroan launched a verbal barb at Sacilotti. Her reaction simply was priceless.

We all know who won this shouting match. Don’t don’t expect a rematch any time soon.
