The NFL will have a predominant color theme in 2015, and Trinidad James would approve.

The league will conclude the 2015 season with Super Bowl 50 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., so to honor the big game’s 50th anniversary — and pay tribute to the famed gold rush that gave the San Francisco 49ers their name — the NFL is doing a gold takeover this upcoming season.

Here’s a sneak peek at the new jerseys for this season’s Pro Bowl, which will be held in Hawaii.

But that’s not all. The NFL also plans on adding gold trim to several logos and banners throughout the season, including those of NFL teams. Here are a few examples, courtesy of SportsLogos.net and CBSSports.com.

The NFL also will take a trip down memory lane, as it plans to include a number of previous Super Bowl rematches and give teams — including the New England Patriots, of course — the chance to honor past championship squads.
