Christmas is coming early this year, Patriots fans.
New England tight end/king of the bros Rob Gronkowski is writing a book that will be published by Derek Jeter’s publishing house, and yes, that is the greatest sentence you will read all day. Jeter Publishing, the New York Yankees legend’s publishing partnership with Simon and Schuster, announced the glorious news Tuesday in a press release.
The book, aptly titled, “It’s Good to Be the Gronk,” will “take the reader from the locker room to the VIP room,” according to the release, and it will not fall under the erotic fiction category.
“Rob Gronkowski stands out on and off the field to his fans and peers alike,” Jeter said in the release, per For The Win. “We’re looking forward to helping him share some insight into what makes him tick.”
The book promises to give an inside look at Gronk’s life on the gridiron, from his ACL injury to his impressive comeback that culminated in a Super Bowl ring. Of course, it also will detail the party boy’s fun off the field, which is great news for every one who loves Gronk spikes, watching him hit on women and, in general, a good time.
“If you want to be a chiseled six foot six inch All-Pro football player who makes big money to score touchdowns and win Super Bowls, and if you like to have just as much fun with your family and enjoying life, then this book is for you!” Gronkowski said.
